Key Responsibilities of the Seasonal Tax Preparer
- Prepare and file taxes
- Handle 1040 forms
- Resolve rejections and filing issues
- Communicate with clients by phone and email
- Maintain client and account records
- Support daily operational tasks
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets and shared data
- Prepare paper filing packets as needed
Preferred Qualifications for the Seasonal Tax Preparer
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, client support, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Tax or e-filing experience a plus
- Bilingual skills a plus (Spanish preferred)
