Compensation: $36-48/hour, depending on experience
Location: Remote (U.S.) EST Hours
Schedule: Full-time | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST

About the Opportunity

We’re supporting a well-established wealth management and tax services firm in seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer for the upcoming tax season. This is an 8–9 week engagement where you’ll play a direct role in a smooth and successful season for a high-net-worth client base.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and compliant 1040 individual tax returns using ProSeries based on scanned PDF documents
• Review, enter, and update client data; identify all required documents for inclusion
• For experienced preparers: prepare 1041 trust returns
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of all assigned returns for internal review
• Maintain high quality and accuracy within a fast-moving workload

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5+ years of hands-on tax preparation experience (1040 required; 1041 strongly preferred)
• Active PTIN, or willingness to obtain prior to assignment start
• Proficiency with ProSeries or similar tax preparation platforms is a plus (+)
• Comfortable working with PDF-driven workflows
• Access to a reliable computer for remote opportunities
