Overview
IRONFAB LLC is looking for a Field Superintendent to oversee the erection of structural & miscellaneous renovation & new build projects ranging from retail stores, restaurants, warehouses, senior living facilities, multifamily housing, schools, etc.
Responsibilities
Oversee the erection of structural and miscellaneous renovation and new build projects.
Manage field crews, including ironworkers.
Coordinate with the trucking division to move equipment to projects and assist with trucking logistics.
Handle crane logistics and Job Hazard Analysis.
Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
Perform field surveying and measuring.
Work with 3rd party inspectors to ensure work meets specifications.
Qualifications
Experience in managing a crew of ironworkers.
Hardworking, dedicated, dependable, experienced, and motivated.
15-year background in steel erection and fabrication.
Willing to work in fabrication shop when fieldwork is not available.
Experience building commercial, industrial, and government projects, as well as miscellaneous steel installation.
Familiar with AISC, AWS, and RCC requirements for steel structures.
Works with trucking division to ensure equipment is safely moved to projects and assists with trucking logistics.
