This is a Level 1 role focused on document consolidation, print management, and mail processing within a high-security, restricted-access environment.

Accountabilities

  • Mail Processing: Sort, weigh, and apply postage to First-Class and International mail. Use mail metering machines and 2D barcode scanners to validate every piece.
  • Fulfillment & Logistics: Match unique codes on printed items, consolidate booklets and 8.5″ x 11″ documents, and prepare mailings for courier distribution.
  • Web Research & Printing: Perform internet searches on predetermined sites to source and print the most up-to-date PDF materials.

  • Physical Handling: Move pallets (1–3 per day) using a manual pallet jack and organize incoming deliveries.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Physical Stamina: Must be comfortable standing for approximately 70% of the day and able to consistently lift mail bins weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Technical Basics: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and general computer file navigation.
  • Soft Skills: Punctuality and reliability are critical. You must be collaborative, personable, and able to remain focused in a loud, dynamic work setting.
  • Compliance: Because you will handle confidential materials, a thorough and extensive background check is required for employment.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Bilingual English Spanish is a major plus).

Education and Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma required; secondary education is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in fulfillment, financial communications, or mail processing is preferred but not required.
  • Standards: Proven ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously.
  • WHY JOIN THIS TEAM?
    • Growth Opportunity: We believe in promoting from within. Once acclimated, you will be cross trained on inkjet machinery, trade confirmation processing, and higher-level logistics.
    • Location: Conveniently located near NJ Transit’s Secaucus Junction.

Impact: You are part of a small, 6–8-person team where your work directly impacts a major global client.

  • Management Rights: Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
