Role Overview Army Human Resource Specialists (MOS 42A) perform personnel and administrative functions, providing HR support to all military members. They ensure readiness, health, and welfare of soldiers.
Qualifications and Training
Minimum ASVAB scores: 100 General Technical (GT), 90 Clerical (CL)
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
10 weeks Basic Combat Training (BCT).
9 weeks Advanced Individual Training (classroom and hands-on)
Possible advanced training depending on unit assignment.
Helpful Skills
Communication and people skills.
Ability to follow detailed orders.
English and business administration aptitude.
Requirements
U.S. citizen or I-551 cardholder.
Age 17-34.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass background check and drug screen.
No felony convictions.
Good health with no physical limitations.
