Key Responsibilities
Provide human resources support to soldiers of all ranks and classifications.
Manage personnel records, administrative paperwork, and reporting.
Assist in readiness, health, and welfare programs to support soldier well-being.
Follow detailed orders and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien (I-551).
Age between 17-34 years.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Achieve a minimum ASVAB score: General Technical (GT) ≥ 100 and Clerical (CL) ≥ 90.
Able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
Pass criminal background check with no open violations or felony convictions.
Pass drug screening and physical fitness requirements.
Training
10 weeks of Basic Combat Training (BCT).
9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) combining hands‑on and classroom instruction.
Opportunities for advanced training depending on unit assignment.
