Enjoy competitive pay, flexible schedules, great benefits, free continuing education and more. **Make a difference with us!** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Manages scheduling and payroll functions, hiring and other human resource and other administration functions of the department.* Responsible for tracking, administering, and compliance with MMT’s Preventative Maintenance Program* Coordinates vehicle repair and logistics with crews and management; coordinates and approves parts and internal/external service orders.* Maintains parts, requests and orders parts.* Participates in technician recruitment and selection process* Performs administrative duties as required* Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.* Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.* Prepares and maintains records and reports.* Leads Fleet personnel in their duties* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.* The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions.* Noise level in the work environment can be loud.* This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.* The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.* 5 years technical experience* Leadership Experience* Valid driver’s license and good driving record* Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress* Possess good verbal communication skills

.* Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and equipment, fleet maintenance management systems, and telematics systems.* Working competencies with MS Office programs.* Prior ambulance or emergency vehicle and equipment knowledge and understanding of various state requirements* ASE or manufacturer’s Certification preferred* Proficiency in light diesel and gas truck engines preferred.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
