A growing insurance brokerage is seeking a
Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager
to join its high-performing Commercial Lines team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on managing complex accounts in real estate, development, and related industries. This is
not a sales role —it’s a high-touch service and strategy position focused on long-term client relationships. What You’ll Do:
Manage a focused book of
10–20 middle to large market accounts , totaling
$1M–$1.5M in revenue
Oversee client portfolios with
$750K–$1M average premium
per account
Lead renewals, coverage reviews, and client communications for
high-complexity, low-volume books
Serve as a technical resource and strategic partner to both clients and producers
Navigate complex accounts within real estate, construction, and related sectors
Use Applied EPIC or similar agency systems to maintain accurate documentation
Work Environment:
Hybrid schedule : 2 anchor days (Tuesday and Thursday) in the Walnut Creek office, with flexibility and 3 remote days

Part of a respected brokerage group with about 50 employees and a long-standing client base
Structured onboarding with clear expectations and room to grow
What You Bring:
7–10+ years
of Commercial Lines account management experience, ideally with
real estate and development clients
Experience handling
mid-to-large premium accounts , not small business or high-volume renewal work
Strong attention to detail, client-facing professionalism, and ability to manage complex risk profiles
Background from larger brokerages welcome, but
open to professionals from smaller firms with the right skill set
P&C license not required , but bonus is provided if already held
Bachelor's degree not required; assessments and interviews will be part of the evaluation process
