The Club:
Founded in 1904, Champaign Country Club is a private, full-service country club, located in Champaign, Illinois. With a championship golf course originally designed by Tom Bendelow, and later redesigned by Edward Lawrence Packard. Champaign Country Club continues to fulfill its original mission as a family club devoted to the game of golf, while offering a growing range of sports and social opportunities. Sports at Champaign include golf, tennis, and swimming. Members of all ages enjoy a year-round schedule of exciting social activities.
Champaign Country Club consists of bent/poa greens, tees, and fairways. Recent improvements to the golf course have included a new irrigation well and pump station. The bunkers were recently rebuilt to Better Billy Bunker. We are currently in the planning process of building a new maintenance facility, and could break ground in fall of this year! We are looking to add a member to our team to learn every facet of golf course maintenance and provide outstanding conditioning to our members and their guests.
