Serve as the technical consultant and solution architect for Ripple Fiber’s MDU Bulk Sales team. Partner with Account Directors to design and present future-proof fiber solutions for multi-dwelling communities, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with client needs. Act as a trusted advisor to developers, property managers, and ownership groups by demonstrating Ripple Fiber’s technical advantages and long-term value. Core Responsibilities

Technical Solution Design

Collaborate with Account Directors during discovery to assess property requirements (greenfield and brownfield). Design Fiber-to-the-Unit (FTTU) solutions, including Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) architecture. Ensure network designs are optimized for future-proofing, IoT readiness, and smart-building applications. Perform Wi-Fi heat mapping for common areas, parking garages, units, and oversized units to ensure optimal coverage and performance. Prepare technical documentation for proposals, including diagrams, specifications, and cost estimates.

Sales Support & Value Demonstration

Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical Q&A sessions. Explain Ripple Fiber’s technology stack (GPON, XGS-PON, Ethernet) and its benefits for long-term reliability and scalability. Highlight how fiber solutions enhance property value, support resale, and deliver operational simplicity.

Site Surveys & Feasibility

Conduct site surveys for both greenfield and brownfield properties to validate design assumptions. Identify technical challenges and propose solutions to ensure smooth installation and activation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Engineering, Construction, Product, and Sales Ops teams to align technical designs with build plans. Provide feedback to Marketing and Product teams on client requirements and emerging trends.

Technical Leadership

Stay current on industry standards, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Train Account Directors on technical aspects of Ripple Fiber solutions to strengthen consultative selling.

Performance Expectations

Support all proposals initiated by Account Directors with accurate technical designs and documentation. Complete Wi-Fi heat maps and site surveys within agreed timelines. Participate in 80–90% of client presentations requiring technical validation. Maintain design accuracy and compliance with Ripple Fiber standards and local regulations.

KPIs & Activity Metrics

Proposal Support: 100% of proposals requiring technical input delivered on time. Wi-Fi Heat Maps: Completed for all bulk projects prior to contract execution. Site Surveys: Completed within 10 business days of request.

Qualifications

Required

3–5+ years of experience in network engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting (telecom, ISP, or related). Strong understanding of fiber networks, managed Wi-Fi, and IP networking fundamentals. Ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes for non-technical audiences. Skilled in creating network diagrams and technical documentation; proficiency with MS Office and design tools (Visio or similar). Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with property owners, developers, and HOA boards. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred

Experience supporting bulk MDU agreements and new construction projects. Familiarity with smart-building technologies, IoT ecosystems, and property management systems. Knowledge of legal and contractual processes for ROE and MSAs. Take the Lead & Grow with Ripple Fiber!
