Supporting medium to large system deployments, including planning, designing, and evaluating software options, selecting operating systems and protocol suites, configuring media, and deriving requirements Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting elements of system networking, including routing and switching, and supporting special communication methods such as VPN Performing independent analysis, evaluation, and integration solutions to complex technical problems to meet management and mission objectives Seeking optimum design within customer specifications, quality standards, schedule, and funding limitations Working with site users to deploy and integrate their solutions. Offering assistance to participants during initial integration stages or when integration fails. Assisting in documenting changes. Assisting with analysis on projects or phases of projects to enhance the technical and economic development of the product Resolving a variety of technical problems leading to advanced engineering studies designed to increase efficiency or reduce costs Assisting with briefing senior management and customer personnel on technical matters, technical research studies, and applications and in developing technical presentations Configuring both internal systems and customer tools within mixed environments Monitoring system performance and system resource utilization, ensure system availability and reliability, and chart trending and capacity planning Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to system infrastructure Assisting in selecting and implementing security tools, policies, and procedures Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution in fielded environments Working inside classified and unclassified environments to accomplish government goals Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree with a focus in computer science, or related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant computer science topics 8+ years of experience with software and systems development, DoD CNO/CND/CNE platforms, cyber-T&E, or cyber exercise planning and execution Intermediate knowledge of software development; programming languages; operating systems; network design; tactical and strategic networks; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, virtualization technologies, and systems Intermediate familiarity with defensive and offensive cyber tools and TTP Skilled at inferring requirements or desirable attributes for environments or test/training strategies Demonstrated ability to effectively synthesize data from multiple sources to make prioritization and resource allocation decisions Superior oral communication skills in formal presentations; soliciting goals and requirements from range users; explaining cyber security and testing/training concepts; effectively communicating event and environment requirements to team members; explaining cost/benefit tradeoffs; managing expectations; and explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to both work independently and to collaborate with range users and other event stakeholders Technical writing skills, including the ability to author event design documents and create persuasive and impactful technical briefing materials Desired Skills

NSA Red Team experience is a plus Master\'s degree with a focus in computer science 10+ years of experience with CNO/CND/CNE platforms 10+ years of experience with cyber testing or training, including planning, coordinating, execution, and analysis, with at least 5 years in each domain Knowledge of existing and emerging CNO/CND/CNE technologies Expert knowledge of at least 5 of: software development; programming languages; operating systems; networks; enterprise and consumer IT concepts, architectures, and systems Expert knowledge of defensive and offensive cyber tools and TTP Experience planning or conducting DoD DCO or OCO Experience working with platform development, training, and/or testing organizations, end-users (operators), and system developers (contractors) Familiarity with relevant DoD testing and/or training policy directives Extensive experience participating in or conducting cyber tabletop exercises Familiarity with cyber range tools, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and traffic generation Extensive and varied experience designing realistic cyber terrain, including global gray and target environments Expertise in complex enterprise infrastructures using various operating systems and services Clearance Information
