Role Summary
We’re hiring a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative based out of our Salt Lake City location. You’ll grow new business and support existing accounts along the Wasatch Front by owning the sales cycle, from prospecting and site visits to quoting, coordinating with our operations/tech teams, and post-sale follow-through.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do: Prospect and develop new accounts (fleet maintenance shops, municipalities, transit, schools, contractors, private shops) Manage a territory across the Wasatch Front (regular in-person visits + phone/email outreach) Conduct needs assessments and walk customer sites to identify the right solutions Build quotes and proposals; follow up consistently and move opportunities through the pipeline Coordinate with technicians/operations for scheduling installs, inspections, and service work Maintain accurate opportunity and customer notes in our CRM Attend customer meetings, vendor trainings, and occasional industry events Deliver a high-trust customer experience from first contact through close and beyond Qualifications
What We’re Looking For Comfortable selling higher-ticket solutions with longer sales cycles Strong communication, organization, and follow-through Confidence using CRM tools, email, and quoting/proposal workflows Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (occasional longer-day travel in Utah) Nice to Have 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience (industrial, construction, automotive, fleet, facilities, or equipment sales preferred) Experience with vehicle lifts, shop equipment, or service/installation environments Familiarity with public sector purchasing (bids, cooperative contracts, vendor portals) Mechanical aptitude and comfort discussing equipment and shop constraints Additional Information
Compensation & Benefits Base pay: 50 - 65K + commission (based on experience) Benefits: Health insurance (including dental & vision), PTO, paid holidays Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Tools for success: phone/laptop, training, vendor support, and qualified leads Schedule Monday–Friday with flexibility based on customer needs and site visits.
