Job Title: Marketing and Services Coordinator
Job Summary: The Marketing and Services Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the sales department, coordinating gifts and services, assisting the Marketing Manager, and handling communications needs as required.
Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to the sales team as required. Assists with prospecting and qualification of new potential clients. Coordinates room block requests for local reoccurring tournament clients as requested by the Sports and Special Events Sales Manager. Serves as office administrator for iDSS to include system maintenance, communicating changes/upgrades, providing training and support to stakeholders, and is the CVB liaison to iDSS. Manages and monitors iDSS partner interface. Manages Housing Bureau and Registration service needs as required. Prepares client gifts as requested by Sales Managers. Conducts regular gift inventory and makes recommendations for future gift ideas. Also maintains survey gift card inventory. Orders client gifts, sales related collateral materials, and tradeshow items as approved by the Executive Director. Coordinates and participates in all sales meetings and planning sessions. Participates in client events as requested. Serves as back up to the main office administrator position (lunch time, vacation, sick time, etc). Liaison to local businesses - communicates upcoming client events and partner opportunities. Handles sales quarterly newsletter with Marketing Manager to support content needed. Event Services
Maintains a close working relationship with sales team to effectively service clients. Communicates with the Sales Managers to ensure all service needs are met. Develops, schedules, and/or implements all services specified by the Sales Managers and documents in iDSS. Manages, stocks, and schedules CVB Welcome Centers. Establishes and works with Administrative Assistant to obtain information to be distributed on the welcome centers. Manages services budget, including maintaining an adequate amount of supplies such as name badges, lanyards, etc. Social Media/Marketing
Manages convention, event, and special promotion-related items on the Visit Greater St. Cloud mobile system. Creates content for event blogs, newsletters, and assists the Marketing Manager as requested. Assists in content development and procurement for Social Media. Design experience preferred but not required. Non-Essential Job Duties
