The Supervisor I is responsible for a broad range of supervisory duties associated with operations of the California Pawn and Secondhand Dealer/Licensing, Automated Property, Stolen Vehicle databases, and applications in the Investigative Database Support Section (IDSS). The Supervisor I serves as liaison for the program with Information Technology (IT) bureaus, professional organizations, and law enforcement agency business partners. The Supervisor I works in partnership with the other managers in IDSS on strategic planning for the section and collaborates on resolving solutions for application and database enhancements. This position is located in the California Justice Information Services Division, Justice Data & Investigative Services Bureau, Investigative Services Branch, Law Enforcement Support Program, Investigative Database Services Section. Additional Salary Information Please note that all new to state employees will be given the minimum salary of the classification. For current state employees and/or those with reinstatement rights, your salary will be determined in accordance with the applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Personal Leave Program: Effective July 1, 2025, state employees are subject to temporary wage reductions in exchange for Personal Leave Program (PLP) accruals. The specific rate and hours earned were negotiated and agreed upon by each bargaining unit.
