
GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of HVAC Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth by generating new business, providing in-home sales consultations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, presenting tailored HVAC solutions, and guiding homeowners through the replacement or upgrade process. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with technical aptitude, a customer-first mindset, and proven success in HVAC sales.
How You’ll Help
Conduct in-home consultations to evaluate customer comfort needs and recommend appropriate HVAC systems Educate customers on product features, benefits, financing options, warranties and maintenance programs Prepare and present detailed proposals using company-approved pricing and tools Follow up on open estimates, leads, and unsold proposals to ensure maximum conversion Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business Respond promptly to company-provided leads and self-generated opportunities Maintain accurate and organized documentation of customer interactions, quotes and sales in the CRM Work closely with installation teams to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale and positive customer experience Attend weekly sales meetings, training sessions and product workshops to stay current on industry standards and offerings Coordinate with service technicians to identify replacement or upgrade opportunities during service visits Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as established by management Follow all company policies, safety guidelines and ethical selling standards. Experience/Skills You’ll Need
An engaging personality, positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to learn quickly Ability to perform load calculations, understand HVAC terminology and learn product specs Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently Flexibility to work after business hours and/or on weekends if necessary Preferred Experience/Skills
Background in HVAC installation, service, or technical consulting Experience in creating airflow designs Previous experience with ServiceTitan or similar system Our Purpose and Culture
