
Overview
WMRE owns and/or operates a portfolio of RNG facilities and RNG-adjacent assets across North America. WMRE plans to produce up to 30 bcf of renewable natural gas annually and is actively engaged in various commercial activities to monetize production across the portfolio. We are looking for a Senior Renewable Natural Gas Originator to help grow the business by optimizing state-of-the-art assets. The successful candidate will have a firm understanding of the North American RNG voluntary market, renewable credit markets in North America, and a track record of transacting on both spot and longer-term structured transactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Transaction Execution: originate and execute spot transactions and longer-term structured transactions within the North American RNG voluntary market as well as global RNG compliance and voluntary markets such as UK, EU, Canada, etc. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize WM’s RNG market position. Market Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of the compliance market and governing bodies, including legislation that impacts RIN pricing and voluntary market pricing. Networking & Sales: Leverage an established list of industry buyers and contacts to successfully transact RNG sales. Legislation Knowledge: Understand the implications and applicability of relevant Federal Tax legislation and other state and federal incentive programs and their impact on compliance market pricing and dynamics. Innovative Deal Structuring: Originate creative deal structures and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment to drive growth and innovation. Customer & Internal Relations: Exhibit strong customer and internal stakeholder relationship management skills. Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals. Physical Natural Gas Logistics: Demonstrate a good working knowledge of physical natural gas market logistics. Environmental Attributes Platforms: Be proficient with platforms that manage environmental attributes and the RNG chain of custody logistics. ISCC Certification: Familiarity with ISCC certifications. RNG Pricing: Have a comprehensive view of RNG pricing in the voluntary markets. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or related field 5 years related work experience in energy origination B. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven track record in RNG sales and market transactions. Comprehensive knowledge of North American and select global RNG voluntary and compliance markets. Strong network of industry buyers and contacts. Knowledge of relevant legislation and its market impacts. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Ability to optimize the optionality of WM’s RNG portfolio of assets. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to present to both small internal groups and external audiences. Courage to make qualified independent decisions and move forward. Solution oriented and highly proactive.
