The Team/Role We are looking for a
Product Marketing Manager
to help scale and execute SmartVault’s product marketing strategy.
This role reports directly to the
Director of Product Marketing
and works closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Partner Marketing. You will be responsible for executing and refining messaging, positioning, launches, and enablement programs that are already defined at the strategic level, while also contributing insights and recommendations based on customer, market, and performance data.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role designed for a strong mid-level PMM who wants meaningful ownership, visibility, and mentorship while helping scale a growing SaaS business.
The Job Product messaging and positioning
Execute, refine, and scale SmartVault’s core product messaging and positioning in partnership with the Director of Product Marketing.
Translate customer pain points, product capabilities, and competitive context into clear, differentiated value propositions.
Ensure messaging is consistently applied across website, campaigns, sales materials, partner assets, and in-product experiences.
Go-to-market and product launches
Own the execution of go-to-market plans for new product features, enhancements, integrations, and pricing or packaging updates.
Build launch plans that include target audience definition, messaging, enablement, and internal readiness.
Coordinate with Product, Customer Success, and Customer Marketing to ensure launches are delivered on time and drive adoption and impact.
Sales and customer enablement
Develop and maintain sales enablement assets such as pitch decks, one-pagers, FAQs, battlecards, demo narratives, and objection handling.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure teams understand how to position SmartVault effectively across use cases and customer segments.
Keep enablement materials current as the product evolves and ensure they are easy to find and actively used.
Partner messaging and enablement (as part of core PMM responsibilities)
Create partner-ready messaging that explains how and why SmartVault fits within the accounting technology ecosystem.
Support integration launches with partner-specific positioning, training materials, sales decks, and co-branded assets.
Collaborate with Partner Marketing and Business Development to enable partners to confidently position SmartVault to shared customers.
Maintain a clear, organized source of truth for partner enablement materials.
Market, customer, and competitive insights
Conduct ongoing research into customer needs, buying behavior, and product usage to inform messaging and GTM execution.
Track the competitive landscape and contribute to competitive positioning, battlecards, and differentiation strategies.
Share insights with Product Marketing leadership and Product teams to inform roadmap discussions and prioritization.
Measurement and optimization
Support measurement of launch and GTM performance, including adoption, usage, pipeline influence, and revenue impact.
Analyze results and provide recommendations to improve future launches and messaging effectiveness.
Continuously iterate on assets and narratives based on data, feedback, and performance.
Cross-functional collaboration
Work closely with Product, Growth, Partner Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and clarity.
Help scale consistent product narratives across all customer and partner touchpoints.
Act as a reliable execution partner who increases velocity and throughput for the Product Marketing function.

Product launches are delivered consistently, on time, and with clear messaging and enablement.
Sales and Customer Success teams regularly use PMM-created materials and feel confident positioning SmartVault.
Partners have clear, effective messaging and training to support integration-led selling motions.
Messaging and positioning are consistent across marketing, sales, and partner channels.
The Product Marketing function operates with increased speed, clarity, and scalability.
Customers have a full and thorough understanding of SmartRequestAI and you have worked across the organization to ensure educational content drives adoption
Essential Skills Required
3–7 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 2–4 years in Product Marketing or a closely related role.
Hands-on experience executing messaging, positioning, product launches, and enablement programs.
Proven ability to create sales and partner enablement assets such as decks, one-pagers, FAQs, and training materials.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
Analytical mindset with comfort using data to evaluate adoption, performance, and impact.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable prioritizing and adapting in a growing SaaS environment
Nice to have
Experience marketing to accounting, bookkeeping, or professional services firms.
Familiarity with accounting or practice-management technology ecosystems.
Experience supporting integrations, co-selling motions, or partner-led GTM.
Exposure to PLG or hybrid PLG + sales-led growth models.
