Account Executive / Sales Lead – SMB AltLending SaaS

Role Description We are seeking a Sales Lead / Account Executive to own and scale revenue across SMB AltLending clients.
This is a full-time role working closely with the Founder & CEO. New York City–based candidates are strongly preferred, given regular collaboration and industry engagement, though remote candidates will be considered for the right fit. This is not a high-volume SDR role. It is a consultative, high-trust sales position focused on experienced operators, executives, and investment teams.
You will lead deals end-to-end—from initial conversation through close—and play a meaningful role in shaping AdvanceIQ.ai’s go-to-market strategy, positioning, and sales process. The role involves direct client engagement, pipeline ownership, and close collaboration with internal product and analytics teams to ensure a strong customer experience from first call through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle: outbound, inbound, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and close
Sell AdvanceIQ.ai’s SaaS products (PortIQ, SMB RiskIQ, ARIA) to originators, brokers, syndicators, and investors
Conduct thoughtful, domain-aware discovery conversations with senior decision-makers
Translate client needs into clear product value propositions and ROI narratives
Manage pipeline, forecasting, and deal progression with discipline and accuracy
Coordinate with product and analytics teams to support pilots, trials, and onboarding
Represent AdvanceIQ.ai at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings
Contribute to refining messaging, pricing, packaging, and sales collateral over time
Who You Are
You have experience selling B2B SaaS or data/analytics products, ideally in fintech, lending, or private credit
You understand—or can quickly learn—MCA, RBF, underwriting workflows, portfolios, and capital allocation
You’re credible and comfortable engaging with operators, investors, and executive teams
You sell consultatively, not by feature-dumping
You operate independently, take ownership, and thrive in a lean, founder-led environment
You value clarity, integrity, and long-term relationships over short-term wins
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development
Experience owning deals end-to-end with $12k–$100k+ annual contract values
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort working in a fast-moving, resource-efficient environment
Ability to understand complex products and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences
Preferred (But Not Required)
Prior experience in SMB AltLending, MCA, RBF, or private credit
Experience selling analytics, risk, or data platforms
Existing industry relationships
Experience working with CRMs, LOS/LMS platforms, or fintech integrations
