wed love to hear from you./ph3Role Overview:/h3pThe Sr. Sales Agronomist is responsible for managing existing and attracting new customers within the sales territory, assisting customers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs, and maintaining and developing profitable customer relationships./ph3A Sample of What Youll Do in This Role:/h3ulliIdentify and develop new customers while managing and growing existing accounts to drive territory growth and profitability./liliProvide agronomic guidance to customers on product selection and use./liliMaintain strong, profitable relationships to become the market leader./liliServe as a mentor to sales staff and a liaison with branch management, aligning strategies, goals, and execution plans./liliManage support resources across nutrition, seed, branded products, and technology, ensuring successful implementation in the territory./liliDevelop and execute annual business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, sales goals, and risk management in line with credit policies./liliRepresent Wilbur-Ellis as the primary customer contact and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines./li/ulh3What You Bring to the Role:/h3ulli5+ years of experience in the agricultural industry/liliAbility to work independently with minimum supervision/liliWillingness to travel/liliKnowledge of agricultural production and practices with local crops, varying depending on the geography/liliKnowledge of herbicides and fertilizers (dry and liquid)./liliAgronomy/Agribusiness Degree preferred/li/ulh3What Makes You a Great Fit:/h3ulliYou have strong interpersonal and team-building skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to establish relationships with field personnel, peers, and customers./liliYou have expertise in agronomic practices within the sales area./liliYou have excellent written and oral communication skills./liliYoure comfortable communicating to small and large groups./liliYou have a detail and accuracy orientation with an ability to handle multiple projects and customers simultaneously./li/ulh3Compensation and Benefits:/h3ulliIn compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $92,400 - $123,220.
