divh2Bankruptcy Assistant/h2pThis position is an integral role within MTs Mortgage Bankruptcy team that will assist in execution of day to day functions including the activation of the bankruptcy workstation, identification and distribution of mail, document imaging and calculation and preparation of quotes./ph3Primary Responsibilities:/h3olliSet up the bankruptcy workstation and assign attorneys to specialists./liliDocument reaffirmation agreements./liliProvide continuous monitoring of the bankruptcy mailbox, responding timely to all inquiries./liliDocument motions for relief, post-petition fee notices, proofs of claim, affidavits, etc., and send to Attorneys Firms./liliObtain missing documents and coordinate with other departments as necessary./liliCalculate payoff and reinstatement quotes, add in fees, including taxes, hazard insurance, restricted escrows, attorney fees and costs./liliAdhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies./liliMaintain MT internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable./liliPromote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the MT Bank brand./liliComplete other related duties as assigned./li/olh3Scope of Responsibilities:/h3pThis position interacts with internal CAM departments and external third-party Attorney Firm vendors./ph3Education and Experience Required:/h3pA combined 2 years higher education and/or relevant work experience./ppWorking knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and email software./ppStrong written and verbal communication skills./ppDetail oriented./ppMotivated, team player with a positive and friendly attitude./ppUnderstanding of collections servicing systems./ph3Education and Experience Preferred:/h3pAssociates degree./ppKnowledge of MT Bank systems./ppMT Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
