Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable
Technical Sales Representative
to drive sales and provide technical support for our range of construction adhesives and flooring solutions. This role combines sales expertise with product knowledge to support customers, contractors, and distributors in selecting and applying the right products for their needs.
This position requires
approximately 50% travel
throughout the assigned territory, and the ideal candidate must be
based in the Boston, MA or Philadelphia, PA area.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, distributors, and end-users.
Promote and sell construction adhesives and flooring products within an assigned territory.
Provide technical guidance on product selection, application methods, and troubleshooting.
Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and site visits.
Collaborate with the R&D and marketing teams to provide customer feedback and support new product launches.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market trends.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in construction materials or adhesives.
Strong understanding of flooring systems, adhesives, and construction site practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
Must reside in the
Boston, MA or Philadelphia, PA
area.
