Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Audit Associate to join our Accounting + Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. The successful candidate will lead a variety of complex audit, review, and compilation engagements. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses a strong understanding of accounting principles, and has a passion for delivering high-quality financial audits.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a diverse range of audit, review, and compilation engagements for a variety of clients in the Accounting + Finance industry.
Review client financial statements, accounting records, and operations.
Identify areas of risk and assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
Provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the client’s financial management and control processes.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback.
Stay updated with current accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a strong emphasis on financial statement audits.
Proven experience in leading audit, review, and compilation engagements.
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and draw logical conclusions.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
