Outreach Specialist
to help expand our visibility, build relationships, and bring more people into the programs that change lives. Position Summary
The
Outreach Specialist
will represent COCAS & ME Living in the community, creating partnerships with local organizations, promoting services, and ensuring underserved populations know how to access our support. This role blends advocacy, relationship-building, and community education. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain partnerships with
schools, faith-based groups, nonprofits, probation/parole, shelters, and local agencies . Attend and represent the organization at
community events, job fairs, and resource fairs . Conduct outreach presentations to raise awareness of available services. Distribute marketing and program materials in key community locations. Support referrals into housing, therapy, and reentry programs. Collect outreach data and report outcomes to leadership. Work with the marketing team to align community messaging with campaigns. Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal and networking
skills. Excellent communication and public speaking abilities. Organized and able to track outreach contacts, referrals, and data. Passion for serving diverse, vulnerable populations. Culturally competent and sensitive to community needs. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
12 years of experience in
outreach, case management, or community engagement .
Knowledge of local community resources in Georgia is a plus.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay:
$16 $22 per hour
(based on experience).
Flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends for events as needed).
