housing is the foundation of stability.
We provide housing, therapy, case management, and reentry programs for individuals and families overcoming
domestic violence, homelessness, incarceration, and substance abuse recovery. Weve just completed
credentialing
and are building out our team. Right now, were seeking
Housing Specialists
to step in as
volunteers today
and grow into
paid staff tomorrow
as we scale our housing programs statewide. Why This Role Matters
A safe, supportive home is the first step toward rebuilding a life. As a Housing Specialist, youll make sure every client has the opportunity for
shelter, dignity, and stability. This is your chance to: Get
hands-on experience
in supportive housing. Work directly with clients in crisis and see your impact daily. Be considered for
priority paid roles
as funding grows. What Youll Do
Support
housing intake, eligibility, and placement . Maintain
resident files, lease agreements, and compliance records . Coordinate with case managers & therapists to support residents. Conduct
housing inspections
and ensure HUD/state compliance. Address resident concerns, support eviction prevention & conflict resolution. Track
housing availability & occupancy goals. What Were Looking For
Passion for helping people secure safe, stable housing. Strong communication & organizational skills. Ability to enforce agreements with
compassion & fairness. Interest or experience in housing, property management, or human services. High School Diploma/GED required (degree or related experience preferred). Valid drivers license + reliable transportation. What Youll Gain
Front-line housing experience
in a growing nonprofit. Resume-building role with potential to
transition into paid staff
($16 - $23/hr). Flexible schedule (some evenings/weekends may be needed). Growth path
