Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new business accounts

Manage a sales territory and meet corresponding quotas

Conduct research and analyze market trends to recommend strategies for growth

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry professionals

Attend industry trade shows and professional meetings to enhance market presence

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Healthcare, Marketing, Business, or related field

12-15 years of experience in a hunter sales role, specifically in selling software products

Minimum of 5+ years of experience selling into Health Plans

Proven track record of closing large software system and service sales

Extensive network of contacts at the executive level in Health Plans

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of experience selling to Health Plans is preferred

Strong understanding of market penetration and development strategies

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics

Ability to manage a high-performance sales team effectively

Strong analytical skills for researching prospective customers
