
Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong
RF Sales Engineer
to support complex customer engagements across satellite communications, RF systems, and software defined radio platforms. This role sits at the intersection of sales, systems engineering, and customer delivery, acting as a trusted technical advisor from early opportunity qualification through deployment. You will partner closely with business development and sales teams to translate customer needs into robust RF and SATCOM solutions, while leading demonstrations, proof of concepts, and field trials. Key Responsibilities
Partner with business development and sales teams to qualify opportunities and support deal closure through strong technical insight Lead technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and field trials for RF and satellite communication systems Translate customer requirements into solution architectures and technical recommendations Develop and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs Act as a trusted technical advisor supporting system integration, configuration, and performance optimization Support customers during technical onboarding and early deployment phases Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal product and engineering teams to influence product direction Required Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Experience in pre sales engineering, systems engineering, or technical solutions roles Strong technical understanding of RF systems, SATCOM technologies, and software defined radios (SDR) Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) and embedded systems Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences Comfortable working hands on with hardware and software in customer facing environments Ideal Candidate Profile
RF, SATCOM, or communications engineer who has transitioned into a customer facing or pre sales role Experience supporting complex hardware plus software platforms in aerospace, defence, or advanced communications sectors Confident presenting and influencing technical stakeholders and decision makers Enjoys solving real world customer problems rather than purely desk based sales work Location
All roles are ideally
onsite in Los Angeles . Relocation support is available for strong Sales Engineer candidates willing to move to Los Angeles
