We are searching for a
detail-minded, hands-on Fleet Mechanic
to help us maintain and elevate the performance of our private fleet of trucks, trailers, and small engine equipment. As a second-generation, family-owned company rooted in tree preservation and operational excellence, we take pride in the quality of our work—and that starts with the tools and equipment we rely on every day. Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on a range of vehicles—from small engines and chainsaws to pickup trucks and diesel equipment Troubleshoot issues and complete basic repairs in a timely, professional manner Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized shop space and tools Track repairs, parts, and maintenance schedules Prepare cost estimates and communicate clearly with team members Qualifications
Solid mechanical experience (small engines, gas, diesel, or fleet maintenance preferred) Ability to work independently, solve problems, and prioritize safety Attention to detail and pride in doing things right the first time A team-first mindset and strong communication skills CDL a plus, but not required Why Ahlum & Arbor?
