UTEC is seeking an experienced

Key Account Manager (KAM)

to lead and grow our strategic relationship with one of our most critical global clients. This role is pivotal in driving Acteon\'s commercial success by developing deep client partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across the offshore marine sector.

You will act as the primary liaison for our client globally, combining hands-on account management with strategic leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a client-focused, commercially astute professional with a proven track record in managing complex global accounts and delivering value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for identified key accounts globally, ensuring strong, long-term relationships and high levels of client satisfaction

Global Relationship Governance: Establish and maintain governance structures for the account\'s global engagement, including quarterly business reviews, executive-level meetings, and alignment sessions

Opportunity Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across the account\'s global operations, ensuring proactive identification of projects

Commercial Strategy & Growth: Lead strategic initiatives to expand Acteon\'s footprint within the account, including cross-selling across Geo-Services and other Acteon business lines

Value Proposition Articulation: Develop and communicate Acteon\'s differentiated value proposition to the account stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their strategic priorities and sustainability goals

Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitor contractual, operational, and compliance risks across all of the account engagements, ensuring adherence to Acteon\'s standards and client requirements

Innovation & Technology Integration: Identify opportunities to introduce Acteon\'s innovative solutions and technologies into projects, driving efficiency and cost savings

Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Maintain a comprehensive map of the account\'s decision-makers and influencers globally, ensuring multi-level engagement from operational teams to executive leadership

Internal Alignment: Collaborate with regional business development teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution of the account strategies globally. Act as the account\'s voice within Acteon, ensuring internal teams understand client priorities and deliver exceptional service

Performance Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs for account performance (e.g., revenue growth, margin improvement, client satisfaction) and deliver regular reports to senior leadership

Data-driven Insights: Utilize CRM and analytics tools to track account performance, forecast revenue, and identify emerging trends within the account\'s portfolio

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Experience in Key Account Management, ideally with knowledge of the offshore marine and energy sector

Demonstrated experience working with global clients in oil & gas, renewables, and marine industries

Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams

In-depth knowledge of Key Account Management methodologies, relationship development, and commercial negotiation

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Ability to travel internationally as required

Fluent English and other languages are advantageous
