Responsibilities
Drive a van/truck along an established route and service and sell within an existing customer base Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research Develop and build relationships with new accounts and develop additional contacts within existing accounts Take orders from clients and prepare products for purchase Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary Respond to customer service calls in a courteous and professional manner Consult with customers after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support Maintain a high level of customer service Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge on stone fabrication, tools and equipment Qualifications
Proven sales ability with capability to meet and surpass targets and goals Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving abstract High level of integrity and work ethic Demonstrated time management skills Ability to quickly pick up new product and service knowledge, and communicate that product knowledge to customers Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Work Conditions
Interaction with customers/clients, and the public at large May be required for driving for many hours at a stretch, including making many deliveries Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals Ability to lift 100 pounds; ability to perform physical movements regularly Sitting – long and regular driving hours Handling/gripping - Handle tools and equipment; grip steering wheel and levers Climbing up and down into van and customer locations Stooping / Crouching - Occasional stooping when accessing equipment/tools in van Projected hiring salary range is between $42K-55K We are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment.
