We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled

sales engineer

with strong knowledge of CNC processes and a proven track record in selling precision machined parts or machine time. This role requires both technical expertise and exceptional relationship-building skills to support and expand our customer base, fostering long-term, repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain personal rapport with potential and existing customers, identifying current and future service requirements.

Provide in-depth technical and engineering information on products, services, and equipment, responding to inquiries from various sources.

Establish and expand accounts by identifying potential customers and planning a strategic sales call schedule.

Prepare cost estimates by reviewing blueprints, plans, and related customer documentation, and consult with engineers and other technical professionals as needed.

Analyze and recommend improvements by evaluating cost-benefit ratios and proposing changes to enhance customer equipment, processes, or material use.

Process orders by working closely with technical support staff to manage engineering changes and costing.

Support customer development by offering technical information, training, and on-site assistance to enhance their understanding and use of our products.

Prepare and present detailed sales engineering reports, summarizing sales activity, technical trends, and application insights.

Stay current in the industry by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and engaging in professional societies and networks.

Contribute to the teams success by addressing both short- and long-term challenges, providing strategic input, and implementing directives for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Strong technical background in CNC processes.

Previous experience in selling precision machined parts or machine time.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships.

Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and technical documentation.

Enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to customer service and sales growth.

Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status US Citizens/ Green Card Holder

Must-Haves

Good machining/manufacturing background Mandatory

Hydraulics experience Mandatory

Understand what markets are out there and Managing Existing client management

Strong technical background in CNC processes.

Previous experience in selling precision machined parts or machine time.
