Develop new OEM accounts and manage existing customer relationships Represent Machine Products machining capabilities to manufacturers throughout the Chicago metro area and surrounding regions Relationship-driven B2B sales role focused on precision machining and contract manufacturing services Non-retail, non-transactional industrial sales position Key Responsibilities
Prospect, identify, and secure new OEM business Manage and grow existing customer accounts Conduct customer visits, presentations, and facility tours Communicate customer requirements internally with engineering and operations Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and support Represent company capabilities including CNC turning, Swiss machining, and precision manufacturing Required Qualifications
3+ years of outside sales experience in manufacturing or industrial B2B sales Proven success selling contract manufacturing, machining, or technical services Strong understanding of OEM purchasing processes Ability to read or understand engineering drawings and technical requirements Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable working independently Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally Strongly Preferred
Experience selling CNC turning, Swiss machining, or precision components Existing OEM relationships in hydraulics, industrial equipment, medical, aerospace, or defense Familiarity with quality systems, tolerances, and regulated manufacturing environments
