Outside Sales Representative
to help grow new business and strengthen key customer relationships. Role Overview
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing
new OEM accounts , managing existing customers, and representing DuPage Machine Products’ machining capabilities to manufacturers throughout the
Chicago metro area and surrounding regions . This is a
relationship-driven B2B sales role
selling
precision machining and contract manufacturing services , not transactional or retail sales. Requirements
Required Qualifications
3+ years of
outside sales experience , ideally in
manufacturing or industrial B2B sales Proven success selling
contract manufacturing, machining, or technical services Strong understanding of
OEM purchasing processes Ability to read or understand
engineering drawings
and technical requirements Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable working independently Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally Strongly Preferred
Experience selling
CNC turning, Swiss machining, or precision components Existing relationships with OEMs in
hydraulics, industrial equipment, medical, aerospace, or defense Familiarity with quality systems, tolerances, and regulated manufacturing environments
