Account Manager – Post Acute Care (Base + Commission) PRN Health Services is growing—and we’re hiring a
Post Acute Care Account Manager
to help expand and strengthen our
Illinois and Iowa
markets. This is a
field-forward, relationship-driven role
combining account management
and
business development. You’ll manage existing per diem and contract business while actively driving growth through in-market presence, partnerships, and new opportunities. If you enjoy autonomy, building long-term relationships, and seeing direct results from your efforts, this role was built for you.
Who We’re Open To
We’re actively considering candidates in: Appleton, WI
who are willing to travel to
Illinois and Iowa every couple of weeks , OR Illinois or Iowa
who can be
highly active in-market , building and supporting client relationships locally
What You’ll Do
Own and grow a regional book of post acute care business across IL and IA Manage day-to-day
per diem and contract accounts Spend consistent time in the field visiting and supporting clients and clinicians Develop new client relationships through outreach, networking, and referrals Strengthen existing partnerships by identifying expansion and retention opportunities Partner closely with recruiters to align clinician supply with market demand Support clinician engagement, performance, and satisfaction Develop and execute market strategies tied to revenue, growth, and penetration goals Analyze market trends, performance data, and client feedback to guide decision-making
This is
not a desk-based account role —visibility, mobility, and proactive engagement are key to success.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years
in sales, business development, account management or business Post acute care, long-term care, or healthcare staffing experience preferred Proven success growing and managing relationships or a book of business Comfortable driving new business while supporting existing accounts Confident, visible, and relationship-oriented Organized, self-motivated, and energized by growth goals Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market Base salary + commission Mileage reimbursement for travel High-autonomy, field-based role 401(k) match , health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, life insurance Tons of
