Location:
Oak Brook, IL (Hybrid or Remote)
Compensation:
$65,000 – $85,000 base + uncapped commission
Total Compensation:
$100K+ realistically achievable in year one

Responsibilities
Aggressively pursue new customer acquisition, consistently prospecting and identifying new sales leads within the manufacturing and distribution sectors
Sell packaging materials and pallets to manufacturing clients throughout the Chicago area, building strong customer relationships based on trust and reliability
Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation, quoting, and closing, to post-sale support and long-term relationship management
Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and trade events
Maintain detailed customer records, track activity, and manage your pipeline using CRM and related tools
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, accurate order fulfillment, and excellent customer service
Provide input on product needs, market trends, and pricing strategy to help drive long-term business growth
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals, while continuously refining your approach to improve close rates
Represent the company professionally in the field; travel locally to customer sites as needed
Act as a trusted partner to ownership, supporting the overall business strategy and helping shape the future of the sales function
Requirements
BS, BA, AAS,
or an equivalent of 5+ years of related packaging industry experience is required
5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in
packaging,
or related
industrial supply
industries
Proven track record selling into
manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution
environments
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage your own pipeline, and follow through on deals
Strong communication skills and ability to build long-term relationships with customers
Experience with CRM systems
Local to the Oak Brook/Chicagoland area preferred, but remote considered for top-tier candidates
