What you Will Do HelixIntel is looking for a driven Founding Account Executive to help us grow our sales organization and accelerate revenue generation. In this role, you’ll be working directly with our VP of Business Development to generate revenue by presenting the HelixIntel value prop, develop relationships, build out and manage an account executive team, and close deals. Using knowledge of our product’s technical features, you’ll match what we offer to what our clients really need. Organizational skills are critical as you will be driving multiple opportunities in parallel as a player-coach. Your work will directly shape our sales approach and contribute to the company’s overall success. This is a great role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment. Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation Own the entire sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution Prospect and generate leads through outbound efforts (email, calls, LinkedIn, referrals, events) and channel partner relationships (consultants, insurance partner referrals, etc) Qualify opportunities and conduct discovery with insurance executives and risk leaders Deliver compelling product demos tailored to insurers (i.e customers) matching our platforms capabilities and strengths to their business, industry concentrations, and unique risk management needs Build ROI-driven business cases aligned to claims reduction, loss control, and operational efficiency Manage pricing discussions, proposals, pilots, and contract negotiations Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets Lead quarterly business reviews for deals you closed and manage the renewal process (identify the right time to initiate discussions to align with customer budget cycles) Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of carriers, pools, and programs Identify target accounts within assigned segments (carriers, mutuals, pools, MGAs) Work CRM (Salesforce) diligently to track activity, forecast accurately, and manage deals Collaborate with leadership on account prioritization Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Insurance Partner Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure smooth post-sale handoffs. Provide market feedback to inform product development and positioning Team Development & Management Help build and manage the AE function by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring Account Executives as the team scales Support our high-performance sales culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement Contribute to the refinement of the Company’s sales strategy as we scale and learn What You Will Bring 7-10 years of proven experience in B2B Enterprise SaaS sales, Insurtech, or insurance adjacent solutions Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field Strong relationship management, discovery, storytelling, and value-based selling skills Ability to engage prospects and build rapport with diverse stakeholders and executive level contacts Exceptional communication, organization, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and think creatively about proposals Familiarity with Insurer tech stacks, e.g., core platforms. Experience with CMMS, asset management, or facility management solutions is a plus Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), outreach tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io), and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, with a proactive and results-driven mindset What We Offer A culture that puts family and personal life first Teammates with startup experience to keep us on the right track Medical, dental and vision coverage HSA/FSA Equity compensation 401k Unlimited PTO Health and wellness stipend Compensation HelixIntel is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $100k-$150k per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. Target OTE is approximately $200k-$300k without a cap. The range represents the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is influenced by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Location HelixIntel adds talent for in-office, hybrid, and remote roles. This role allows for remote work with the following expected travel: Travel to our headquarters office in Buffalo, NY for a week to onboard For the first six months, travel to Buffalo at least once per month for 3-4 days Meet in person quarterly thereafter Attend all relevant tradeshows, conferences, client meetings, and team gatherings Application Form
