Job Description: Streaming Video Producer
Overview The Streaming Video Producer is responsible for producing high quality content optimized for multiple livestream formats to include short-form, long-form and live-recorded material with the end of goal of increasing revenue. This role oversees the entire video production process, from conceptualization to final cut, and performs the firsthand video editing of video, audio, and graphics to create compelling finished products for various platforms. This position also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and troubleshooting technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Ideation and Development – Research, development, implementation, and workflow for livestream/shoppable video/FAST content media management
Pre-Production – Planning, budgeting, working with talent, and managing logistics for shoots
Production – Overseeing on-set operations and managing equipment
Post-Production
Editing – Trimming footage, sequencing clips, assembling narrative; editing raw footage into polished platform-ready content and repurposing long form into bite-sized videos
Audio – Perform audio mixing, sound leveling, noise reduction, and integration of music, voiceover, and sound effects
Graphics – Creating and integrating graphics, text, and visual effects; adding captions, subtitles, graphics, animations, and transitions to enhance storytelling
Optimization – Optimize videos for various aspect ratios and platform specific requirements
Project Management – Managing complex video projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget
Digital Strategy – Up to date on the latest trends, technology, editing techniques, and emerging audio-visual technologies; implements best practices for video platforms to maximize views and audience engagement to drive revenue
Quality and Compliance – Ensures compliance with industry standards, brand authenticity, legal requirements, security protocols, and best practices
Qualifications
Education: Degree in film, broadcasting, communications, or a related field
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) and graphics tools
Communication: Excellent skills to collaborate with producers, clients, and other team members effectively
Creative Vision: Strong storytelling ability, narrative pacing, and an understanding of visual aesthetics
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of different video formats, production workflows, and digital platform best practices
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during production and post-production
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and resources efficiently
Portfolio: A strong online portfolio highlighting completed video projects is often required to demonstrate skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with motion graphics (Canva, Effects, or similar)
Knowledge of color correction and grading
Familiarity with livestreaming production
Basic graphic design skills for thumbnails and promotional assets
