The Intervention Specialist provides direct, personalized support for students with learning differences. As part of a collaborative team, you will design and administer a comprehensive, data‑driven learning enhancement program aligned with our school's mission. This role requires strong relationship‑building skills and a commitment to continuous improvement through evidence‑based interventions. IDEAL CANDIDATE
We seek a positive, enthusiastic educator who is passionate about supporting students with learning differences. You bring warmth, patience, and a genuine love for working with children, combined with a commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct and indirect learning enhancement services to students Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community partners to coordinate student support Design and implement evidence‑based interventions using RTI framework (Tiers I‑III) Use data to identify needs, evaluate impact, and adjust interventions accordingly Advocate for programs and practices that support equitable, inclusive learning environments REQUIREMENTS
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license with mild/moderate endorsement Graduate degree in special education or related field Proven experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) across all tiers Strong understanding of local, regional, state, and federal resources supporting students and families Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure Proficiency with technology and educational software Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
