As Director of Membership Sales & Experiences, you lead all revenue-driving efforts across membership sales, ticketing, and private events. This role is responsible for building demand, shaping go-to-market strategy, and representing The Hand & The Eye externally through partnerships, corporate relationships, and community presence. You own membership sales, not membership curation, and work closely with Membership leadership to ensure sales efforts align with intake pacing, cultural standards, and the integrity of the community.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will build and scale a high-performing sales organization, establish sales infrastructure and forecasting, and personally manage key relationships. In partnership with Brand, Marketing, Programming, Culinary, and Operations, you ensure every sales-driven interaction reflects the care, discretion, and experience standards that define The Hand & The Eye.

Preferred Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in membership sales, hospitality sales, private clubs, or luxury experiential environments • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams • Experience owning revenue strategy, pipeline development, and forecasting across multiple sales channels • Strong command of CRM systems, sales operations, and reporting (PeopleVine experience preferred) • Established network within Chicago’s hospitality, corporate, or events landscape • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, pre-opening environment • Strong executive presence with the ability to represent a premium brand externally • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in alignment with venue schedule and events We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with a criminal history (including relevant driving history), in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, and the New York Fair Chance Act.
