About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing and Public Relations Director to join our team for a high-impact, 6-month contract with potential to turn into a full-time position. This role is critical in driving demand creation and market activation as we prepare for the peak summer season. You will focus on enhancing our brand presence, cultural relevance, and overall awareness in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and an impressive track record in executing effective marketing strategies. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels.
  • Driving top-of-funnel demand.
  • Coordinating market activation through impactful public relations and grassroots marketing initiatives.
  • Managing new product launches effectively.

Applicants should have at least 8 years of experience in marketing leadership, specializing in brand development, integrated campaigns, and demand creation, preferably within high-growth marketplaces or consumer travel and leisure brands. Experience in leveraging emerging digital channels, managing creator partnerships, and utilizing sophisticated content marketing techniques is essential.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • A proven history of managing PR agencies and budgets.
  • Experience in driving measurable results and achieving targeted Earned Media Value.
  • A strong emphasis on cultural activation and generating market buzz through non-traditional activations.
