Position Summary

The Associate Vice President, Ticketing and Revenue Generation provides executive leadership for ticket operations, CRM, and business analytics at the University of South Florida. This role is responsible for elevating ticketing strategy, sales support, and data-driven decision-making to best-in-class industry standards while driving revenue growth and customer engagement across all sports. The position requires a results-driven leader with a team-first mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Ticket Operations & Revenue Strategy

  • Lead a solution-oriented ticket operations department that advances departmental and institutional revenue objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all ticketing partners, including primary and secondary distribution platforms.
  • Proactively monitor industry best practices and emerging trends to ensure USF Athletics remains at the forefront of ticketing innovation.
  • Assist in the development and management of the department’s annual budget and business plan.
  • Lead the CRM and business analytics teams in support of ticket sales, annual fund, sponsorship, and broader athletics initiatives.
  • Analyze historical and current sales data and performance metrics to inform future sales campaigns, pricing strategies, and new lead sources.
  • Develop dashboards and virtual CRM reports to track campaign performance, productivity, and revenue outcomes.
  • Oversee daily revenue tracking and campaign management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement integrated ticketing, sales, and service strategies that maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Support outbound sales efforts by providing strategic insights, lead development, and operational alignment.
  • Develop and execute strategic renewal campaigns utilizing omnichannel touchpoints, with a focus on retaining at-risk accounts.
  • In coordination with the Bulls Club and Marketing, design and implement annual fund solicitation and engagement campaigns.
  • Foster a strong, collaborative, and cohesive culture across ticketing, CRM, analytics, and sales support teams.
  • Participate in organizational planning meetings to identify revenue opportunities and align cross-departmental strategies.
  • Communicate ticket sales performance, renewals, and revenue trends regularly to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ticket operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and ticketing systems.
  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with detailed execution.

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.

Senate Bill 1310 - The Florida Senate is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S. Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements. A public employer may include a postsecondary degree as a baseline requirement only as an alternative to the number of years of direct experience required, not to exceed:

  • (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
  • (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
  • (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
  • (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
  • (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree

Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment. Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, revenue-driven environments.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
