We are seeking a UX Research Contractor to independently scope and execute user research across digital products supporting multiple user groups, including customers and internal teams for our client. This role partners closely with Product, UX, Analytics, and Technology teams to ensure design decisions are grounded in user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute user research (usability testing, interviews, surveys, card sorting)
- Lead discovery efforts including persona development and journey mapping
- Translate complex findings into concise, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Partner cross-functionally to influence product and design decisions
- Present research outcomes to senior and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX Research experience in a corporate or agile environment
- Experience with tools such as Qualtrics, UserZoom, or similar
- Familiarity with Design Thinking and Lean UX methodologies
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract setting
Preferred
- Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., insurance or financial services)
- Comfort working within agile product development teams
