
Assistant Camp Director/Unit Leaders

Assists the Camp Director with the successful operation of the overnight camp program. Plans, organizes, and implements activities, supervises camp counselors, performs administrative tasks, and ensures the safety of campers.
Assistant Camp Director
Must have at least 24 weeks of previous administrative or supervisory experience in camping or equivalent experience acceptable to the NYS Commissioner of Health. Must have a Bachelors’ degree or be at least 25 years of age to meet overnight camp regulations. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. American Red Cross, American Health Association, American Safety & Health Institute certification in CPR/AED (Adult, Child, Infant). American Red Cross Responding to Emergencies is preferred. Unit Leader
Must have one or more years of experience as a Senior Counselor or other equivalent position. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Able to successfully plan and lead activities for children in a camp environment. Must be at least 18 years old.
