Gold's Gym - DC Metro
Gold’s Gym – DC Metro is seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to support our digital presence across social platforms. You’ll help build community, engage members and fans online, and support our brand voice with content that reflects the energy, fitness culture, and community values of Gold’s Gym.
Key Responsibilities Community Engagement
Monitor, moderate, and engage with audiences across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, etc.).
Respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a timely, on-brand style.
Proactively insert the brand into trending conversations and member interactions.
Spot potential issues or PR opportunities and notify the marketing lead as needed.
Track community sentiment and share insights with internal teams.
Support influencer and creator interactions by tagging, reposting, and engaging with relevant content.
Content Scheduling & Publishing
Upload and schedule approved posts using social scheduling tools like Later or similar.
Maintain and update the social content calendar and internal asset library.
Verify captions, tags, links, and formats before publishing.
Analytics & Reporting
Pull and summarize monthly performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth).
Assist in preparing analytics reports for leadership and campaign reviews.
Administrative & Team Support
Keep organized records of assets, reports, templates, and vendor documents.
Help coordinate workflows and internal communications with cross-functional teams.
Support influencer relations and content logistics.
Creative Support
Assist with content shoots (setup, BTS capture, member features).
Contribute ideas during creative planning and brainstorming sessions.
Other duties as assigned to support marketing goals.
Requirements Experience & Skills
1–2 years of experience in social media, community management, or related roles (including internships).
Familiarity with major platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X.
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hoot suite, Buffer).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for brand voice consistency.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
A self-starter mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with interpreting and summarizing social performance data.
Passion for fitness or understanding of gym culture is a plus.
