Overview
Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect
Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract
Location: Plano, Pennington, Jersey City
Required Pay Scale: $65-$73/hour
Responsibilities
- Design and operate requirements for moving applications to a container platform, notably OpenShift.
- Interface with Development, Architecture, and Container Platform Teams to analyze requirements and support container onboarding for mission-critical applications.
- Work on application infrastructure design requirements as a solution architect.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience with external cloud platforms (Azure, AWS; GCP experience is a plus).
- Experience with container platforms and OpenShift; Terraform experience is a plus; minimum 3+ years hands-on Terraform/DevOps experience including CI/CD.
- AWS is required; Azure is desired; Linux operating system experience (configurations and parameters).
- Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or related) plus 10 years of field experience, or Master\'s Degree with 7+ years of field experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with spreadsheet and collaboration tools (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Confluence); technical aptitude; ability to participate in and drive technical project discussions, requirements analysis, and triage/troubleshooting.
