von Briesen & Roper, s.c., is seeking an
Attorney
to join our growing and nationally-recognized
Property Tax
team within our Real Estate section in our
Milwaukee office . The Attorney will be responsible for handling a mix of advisory, transactional, and litigation work involving property tax assessments.
Responsibilities
Reviewing property tax assessments.
Preparing and filing appeals of real property tax assessments, working with appraisers and valuation experts to analyze property values, negotiating settlements with taxing authorities to achieve assessments or refunds.
Representing clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings involving property tax disputes.
Staying current with changes in state and local tax laws and presenting insights to client or within the firm.

Qualifications Qualified candidates will have
at least six years of experience in property tax or real estate litigation . A business or accounting background is strongly desired. A partial portable book of business is preferred, but not required.
The ideal candidate will be highly-motivated, with strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills, and a passion for client service. They must be willing to collaborate with a team and work with internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff.
