In this role, you will architect and execute sophisticated strategies that strengthen our supply base, fuel innovation, and give our business a competitive edge. Success requires strong contract management skills and the ability to lead complex negotiations that drive meaningful commercial outcomes. As a strategic partner to Marketing, you will lead and execute initiatives that elevate brand and business impact while collaborating closely with finance, data and technology, operations, and executive leadership to ensure alignment, transparency, and enterprise-wide results.

From shaping high-impact category strategies to leading tactical initiatives, you will play a key role in optimizing how we invest, create value, and bring bold ideas to life through our supplier relationships. Job responsibilities:

Cost management impact of 3% or greater of the value managed or lead enterprise level projects to support cost targets.

Responsible for delivering effective category management strategies and lead sourcing execution process for assigned categories, more complex (greater spend, supply base complexity, cross functional impact, risk).

Monitor execution of all sourcing activities within the category to achieve identified value and outcomes.

Develop key strategic partnerships that create long-term, win-win commitments between our organizations and drive improvements in the area of cost, quality, delivery, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Participate in key Supplier Executive summits, brining key Executives from both Andersen and our strategic partners together to further develop our overall relationship and strategy going forward.

Maintains a deep understanding of the Category as it relates to business requirements, risk, knowledge of market trends and external insights, including rigorous analysis of the market drivers, cost structures and technical advances.

Conducts/leads supplier management activities for the Category.

Creating the governance structure to drive critical engagement across levels. This includes leading complex negotiations with high profile / critical suppliers.

Leads executive and leadership level discussions / category updates on a regular basis.

Lead complex sourcing events based upon subject matter, supplier level engagement, stakeholder level and exec level engagement, etc. Provide the senior leader and exec level summaries.

Define Source Strategy & align with category strategy

RFx development, release and evaluation

Contracting

Negotiation strategy

Final execution

Identify areas of need and lead activities which will support the transformation of our broader sourcing team.

This position may include supervision of an individual or small team and/or ability to mentor junior team members to provide general guidance, ensure policy and business processes are followed.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

Required BA or BS in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering, or related field of study.

Proven success as a sourcing or supply chain professional with total cost management experience.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Sourcing or related functional area.

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing business strategy, proven ability to evaluate and understand key market dynamics and proficient in win-win negotiations.

Proven track record in delivering results and ensuring work is completed on time with a focus on cost, quality and delivery.

Ability to teach, coach and mentor all levels of cross-functional individuals in Supplier Management principles.

Proven leader who creates energy, lives integrity, leads change, creates a vision and plan, inspires people to achieve goals, develops people and delivers results.

Ability to address performance issues and support individuals in identifying and removing performance barriers.

Lead, participate or develop others in cross-functional projects, bringing sourcing insights to drive category strategies, support product development, operational improvements, and process innovations.

Demonstrated ability to develop a Category Strategy based on a deep understanding of short- and long-term corporate strategies.

Ability to influence through effective communication skills across all levels and functions (listening, writing, and speaking), develop polished presentations with ability to present to executive team, and facilitation skills.

Expert in problem solving with the ability to coach others.

Effective in the identification and resolution of issues, concerns, or problems using formal problem-solving techniques.
