Overview

Job Description Track all billable and non-billable time for accurate reporting. Conduct legal research on commercial real estate laws and regulations. Prepare and review legal documents such as purchase agreements, leases, contracts, and ancillary documents. Review and summarize title commitments, surveys, and other due diligence materials. Coordinate and assist in closing commercial real estate transactions, including preparing closing binders and post-closing documentation. Handle post-closing activities: recording deeds and mortgages, disbursing funds, and ensuring proper filing of documents. Maintain organized files for voluminous transactions. Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties to ensure timely collection of necessary information and documentation. Support attorneys in commercial transactions and litigation, including drafting pleadings and trial preparation. Serve as a point of contact for clients, real estate agents, and mortgage brokers, ensuring smooth transaction processes. Perform title searches, prepare title insurance policies, and coordinate residential closings when needed. Conduct due diligence on property surveys, zoning regulations, and restrictions. Maintain professional relationships with clients and vendors. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate. Strong knowledge of lease negotiations, financing options, lending requirements, and related documents. Ability to track and record billable time accurately. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Proactive attitude with strong communication skills for client and vendor interactions. Experience with title/survey review, UCC research and filings, and due diligence. Familiarity with commercial real estate litigation processes (drafting pleadings, discovery responses, trial prep). Experience with residential real estate closings, including drafting contracts, deeds, and related documents. Knowledge of zoning regulations, property surveys, and restrictions. Ability to prepare title insurance policies and conduct title searches.
