Job Title Temporary Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Summary Our Orlando office is seeking a highly experienced

Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

to provide temporary support to our Real Estate Practice Group. This role is critical to the efficient delivery of legal services and requires extensive experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple transactions simultaneously while tracking billable time.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys in all aspects of

commercial real estate transactions , including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing

Draft, review, and revise

purchase and sale agreements, leases, deeds, closing documents, and ancillary agreements

Review and summarize

title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and due diligence materials

Coordinate and manage

commercial real estate closings , including preparation of closing binders and post-closing documentation

Conduct

UCC searches and filings

and assist with financing documentation

Communicate with

clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and vendors

to obtain required documentation and ensure timely closings

Perform

legal research

related to commercial real estate laws and regulations

Track and record

billable and non-billable time

accurately

Maintain organized and complete files for

voluminous transactions

Handle post-closing activities including

recording documents, disbursing funds, and final file management

Assist attorneys with commercial real estate litigation matters as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

Minimum of 5 years of extensive Commercial Real Estate Paralegal experience

(required)

Strong knowledge of

lease negotiations, financing structures, lending requirements, and closing documentation

Experience with

title and survey review , due diligence, and closing procedures

Ability to manage multiple matters and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with both

commercial and residential real estate transactions

Familiarity with Florida real estate laws and procedures
