
Overview
Trustpoint One is pleased to assist a leading law firm in its search for a Senior Real Estate Paralegal for the firm’s New York City office. Reporting to the U.S. Paralegal Manager and NY Real Estate Paralegal Coordinator, the Senior Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of sophisticated real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
Analyze and review title documentation, surveys, and zoning reports
Draft title objection letters, seller responses, and diligence summaries
Negotiate title policy coverage and resolve title issues with title companies
Facilitate issuance of UCC policies and mezzanine endorsements
Collaborate with surveyors and zoning consultants to address compliance matters
Prepare mortgage assignments/terminations related to loan payoffs
Create escrow instruction letters and assist with closing logistics
Review lease agreements and produce comprehensive lease abstracts
Conduct and summarize UCC, bankruptcy, and litigation searches
Draft ancillary loan documents and conveyance instruments
Manage residential, condominium, and cooperative closings from contract to final execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 10 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in an AmLaw 100 firm
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
Adaptability to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
Able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
Willingness to work overtime as needed
