Mitigation Manager

to join our Savannah team. This position plays a key leadership role in field operations, customer service, and emergency response coordination.

Position Summary:
The Mitigation Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our mitigation division, managing field technicians, coordinating on-call schedules, and ensuring each job is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with industry standards. This is a working field management position requiring proactive leadership, accountability, sales experience, direct engagement in field operations and on job problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of water mitigation technicians and assistants.

Conduct daily check-ins to assign jobs, review goals, and ensure readiness.

Address performance, training, and scheduling needs.

On-Call Coordination

Participate in Serclean’s 24/7 emergency response rotation.

Provide after-hours support and direction to technicians when needed.

Ensure readiness of on-call teams, equipment, and vehicles.

Field Management

Supervise job sites to ensure adherence to Serclean's safety and performance expectations.

Support project setup, demo oversight, moisture mapping, and equipment placement as needed.

Serve as escalation point for complex jobsite conditions or customer concerns.

Customer Experience

Act as the main point of contact for high-priority clients and adjust strategies to ensure satisfaction.

Maintain professional communication with homeowners, property managers, and insurance reps.

Job Documentation & Compliance

Ensure proper use of our Restoration Software, DASH, and DocuSketch platforms.

Confirm that all documentation, sketches, photos, and moisture logs are complete and accurate.

Maintain compliance with IICRC, OSHA, and state regulations.

Inventory & Equipment Control

Oversee usage, cleanliness, and tracking of drying equipment and tools.

Coordinate maintenance schedules and restock inventory as needed.

Support accurate Xactimate estimating and review job margins.

Lead and assist sales staff in closing opportunities and identifying change orders.

Qualifications:

5+ years of field experience in water mitigation or disaster restoration.

Prior leadership or crew management experience in the industry.

IICRC WRT required.

Proficiency in Xactimate, DASH, and DocuSketch.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Availability to respond to emergency calls and rotate on-call duties.

Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
